The official ticket

Where the sole price comes from, and why a second website is not a shortcut.

The only official shop is tuboleto.cultura.pe, run by the Ministry of Culture. machupicchu.gob.pe explains the circuits. It does not sell the ticket. A ticket bought on any other site is not the one the gate is looking for. We buy on the official shop, in the traveler’s name, after you have paid us. We do not keep a stack of unnamed tickets.

What a foreign adult pays

Published 2026 schedules put the Ministry of Culture ticket for a standard circuit at S/152, plus S/11 for the national park, S/163 together. The park fee has been collected since 1 May 2026. Routes that add Huayna Picchu, Machu Picchu Mountain, or the Great Cavern are listed at about S/200 plus the same park fee. Children from 3 to 17 are listed near S/70 before any park fee that applies to minors. Under 3 is free and still needs a named ticket and an ID. Peruvian, Andean Community, and student passports pay less. If the checkout total is different from the figure we quoted, we stop and reprice before you pay.

  • One person, one circuit, one date, one entry hour.
  • The name has to match the passport or photo ID.
  • The ticket is not transferable, and the date does not move.
  • Our adult price is the standard circuit. Mountain routes are not on the form.

What the price leaves out

The train to Aguas Calientes and the bus from town to the gate are separate. So is a guide, unless you add one. The guide on our form is a licensed guide we arrange for the party. We confirm the person by email. We do not claim they work for the Ministry.
